Multiple Policy Review Released

The HIPAAtrek team is pleased to announce the release of multiple policy review. Admins may now review multiple polices at once within a policy group. Additionally, our existing multiple policy finalize feature has been enhanced for easier workflows.

From the policy group page, click on Actions to find either the multiple policy finalize or review options.

New Security Policy Templates Now Available

Our in-house HIPAA compliance experts have created nine new policy templates related to the Security Rule, now available in your HIPAAtrek account in the policy module.

These templates reflect cybersecurity best practices and the new requirements being enforced under regulatory discretion. Due to this enhanced enforcement, we recommend that our clients finalize and follow these policy templates starting now.

Sign-in Update Complete

We are pleased to share that our development team has updated the HIPAAtrek sign-in process so that client login IDs may now be distinct from email addresses. Users must now enter their organization name as well as their login ID to sign in to HIPAAtrek.

Updates to Training Module Released

The HIPAAtrek team is happy to announce the release of updates to the HIPAAtrek training module.

Admins may now schedule archiving of training videos and quizzes in advance. This update will allow admins to keep training materials updated, as required by the OCR, with scheduled updates to training.

Training materials set for archive will also have a visual indicator as such on the video/quiz information and on the assignment pages in HIPAAtrek, making it easier to plan for coming changes.
